GavelGrow SMS — automated and two-way text messaging delivered on behalf of law firm subscribers operating through the GavelGrow platform (Gavel Grow Inc., 'GavelGrow,' 'we,' 'us,' or 'our').
This program is registered with The Campaign Registry (TCR) and U.S. wireless carriers under the A2P 10DLC framework. These SMS Terms of Service supplement our main Terms of Service and Privacy Policy and apply specifically to your use of and receipt of text messages from the GavelGrow platform.
By opting in, you agree to receive SMS messages from your law firm (sending through the GavelGrow platform), which may include:
We will never send unsolicited promotional content unrelated to the law firm you initiated contact with.
Message frequency varies based on your interaction with the law firm. You may receive anywhere from 1 to 10 messages per month, with higher frequency during active case intake, consultation scheduling, or case milestone periods.
You will never receive more messages than are reasonably necessary to fulfill the service you consented to receive.
Message and data rates may apply. Your mobile carrier may charge for each incoming and outgoing text message. GavelGrow and the subscribing law firm are not responsible for carrier charges.
Please check with your mobile carrier for details about your plan, including message and data rate charges, before opting in.
You may opt in to receive SMS messages through any of the following methods:
Opt-in records — including timestamp, method, and source — are retained for the duration of the subscription plus four (4) years.
Text HELP to any message you receive and you will get an automated reply with contact information for the subscribing law firm, including phone number and email address.
You may also contact GavelGrow directly:
Text STOP to any message you receive and you will be immediately and permanently unsubscribed from that law firm's SMS program. Additional opt-out keywords we honor include:
After opting out, you will receive one final confirmation message and no further messages from that sender, unless you re-enroll through one of the opt-in methods described above.
Opting out of SMS from one subscribing law firm does not opt you out of SMS from any other law firm whose service you have separately consented to receive.
GavelGrow SMS is compatible with all major U.S. mobile carriers, including:
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery is dependent on network conditions outside of our control.
Your phone number and the content of SMS messages are handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy, available at gavelgrow.com/privacy-policy.
You must be at least 18 years of age and the authorized account holder of the mobile device to opt in to GavelGrow SMS.
You represent and warrant that you have the authority to provide consent on behalf of the phone number you enroll.
Messages sent via the GavelGrow SMS program do not constitute legal advice and do not create an attorney-client relationship with GavelGrow or with any subscribing law firm unless a written engagement agreement has been executed.
Do not send confidential or time-sensitive legal information by SMS. For urgent matters, contact the law firm directly by phone.
We may update these SMS Terms of Service from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via:
Continued enrollment in the SMS program after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated SMS Terms. If you do not agree to the changes, text STOP to unsubscribe.
